Three Waves - The Story of Lake Ronkonkoma

Written by Ann Farnum Curtis (1976). The title refers to the three waves of people who came to Lake Ronkonkoma and caused dramatic changes. Early deeds, records, old journals, scrapbooks and family genealogies were available to Ann for her research. Old timers shared their memories and anecdotes and treasured pictures were loaned for use in this book. When the book was released in 1976, Ann Curtis said “It is my hope that this book will spark a feeling of civic pride in the community and have a constructive effect on its future.” – $15
